Story Behind the Song

In 2007 I went to Slovenia with my Church in Nashville to run an English camp and share my music through a ministry called Josiah Venture. In our training, they explained to us how Europeans are extremely different when it comes to opening up to you and also about their commitment to Christ and openness to Christianity-sometimes it may take years of pouring into and discipleship before they are ready to say YES!

While at camp, we did a lot of fun things, we taught English classes, played games, and also had time of worship and speaking. One day during worship, we sang the song "Mighty to Save" and the Lord used it to build up my faith and encourage me that He was able to Save them and He could open their hearts to believe! I was so worried about doing my part, I almost forgot that Jesus had already done the rest. It's awesome to watch as many of these kids are finally "getting it" through the discipleship of Josiah Venture.
