The way guys think (05.06.11 11:27 am)

It's amazing how different guys and girls are. Even the simple fact that Kerry loves to work with his hands, and I love to care for people. We are made in the image of God, all of us - I believe these are all characteristics of God divided between us in a beautiful puzzle that fits so well together! "We make a good team!"

While there are a few obvious differences, there are also some differences that "we just don't get" about each other. For example: I hear many guys consistently talk about their struggle with their eyes, and how that affects their heart. At the same time, I will hear many girls explain that the way they look gives them a sense of confidence and/or insecurity that goes so deep in their hearts, they are confused how a guy fits into their wardrobe.

On this trip with our band, we got real honest and real deep. I treasured the fact that while sometimes there were definitely BOY moments, I got to be a part of the guy talk that usually goes on when girls aren't around. Being their friend, someone who is for them, and someone who's husband is sitting right next to me - I got to ask questions and hear conversations that still amaze me about the ways boys are - even though I'm MARRIED to one! Ha! :)

This point of this video is not to make a statement or tell girls or guys what to do/wear. The purpose is to just be real, honest - and figure it out together as we go along; because I believe Truth is the only thing that can stand up victoriously to a Lie.
